Crowned as the role model in coatings industry, SCC is a new and technological enterprise with a technological center reaches municipal level. It is also a leader regarding the quality and cost effectiveness. All of the affiliated companies have passed ISO-9000 quality system certification. Since July 1, 2002 when SCC started to implement the 10 national standards with aims to minimalize the harmful material in interior decoration, Shanghai Paint Manufacturing Co, one of SCC’s affiliations, was granted CCC Certification at the first batch nationwide.
SCC also boasts China’s first coatings brand—Winged Tiger. Together with KwangMing, Yipin, and Shitou, these fours brands are awarded as Shanghai Famous Brand by Shanghai municipal authority. Meanwhile, Winged Tiger coil coatings, Yipin pigments, Shitou food colors,Yanjing paints, Changfei agents are crowned as Shanghai Brand Product. Currently, main products of SCC are widely used in national industrial and civil field, including VOLKSWAGEN, BUICK of GM, Metro lines, maglev train, Baosteel, Three Gorges, etc. Food colors branded Shitou has a same structure with US FD&C product and all the test index can meet FAO/WHO standard. Therefore, Shitou food colors gain wide acceptance from home and abroad in different industries, such as food, pharmaceutics and cosmetics. Besides, 50% of the vat dyes under the brand Zhongfu and Aeroplane are exported to overseas.
